TRUMP WARNS OF INVOKING INSURRECTION ACT AS MINNESOTA ERUPTS IN CHAOS.

President Donald Trump issued a stark warning on Wednesday night, declaring that he is prepared to invoke the Insurrection Act if Minnesota authorities fail to stop what he described as “professional agitators” launching violent attacks against ICE agents.
In a fiery message posted on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump accused state leaders of allowing lawlessness to spiral out of control and warned that federal intervention could be imminent.

“If the corrupt politicians in Minnesota don’t stop these insurrectionists from attacking our ICE patriots, I will invoke the Insurrection Act — and end this disgrace very quickly,” Trump wrote.
The president’s remarks come amid intense unrest in Minneapolis, where protests against federal immigration operations have escalated into violent confrontations, vandalism, and direct assaults on federal officers. Viral livestreams circulating on social media show damaged government vehicles, fires in the streets, and clashes between demonstrators and law enforcement.
The Insurrection Act, a rarely used and powerful law dating back to 1807, would allow Trump to deploy federal troops or override state authority to restore order — a move that would mark one of the most dramatic uses of presidential power in modern U.S. history.

Trump praised ICE agents as “heroes doing their jobs,” while condemning what he called a coordinated campaign of chaos fueled by radical groups. He insisted that America will not tolerate cities descending into anarchy.
Minnesota state officials have pushed back, urging calm and warning that federal military action could further inflame tensions. Nevertheless, Trump’s warning has already sent shockwaves through Washington and ignited fierce debate nationwide.
As violence, politics, and federal authority collide, all eyes are now on Minnesota — and on whether Trump will make good on his most aggressive threat yet.
